Extra information

Before creating a tailored resume, VitalFew Assistant compares your Candidate profile against the job advert. This check does not use one of your three free tailored resumes.

You will see a requirement match, shown as a percentage of what the role asks for.

If there are hard mismatches, they appear under Check application details. Location is a common one, and it will tell you what the advert asks for and what your profile shows, so you can decide whether relocation or remote work is possible.

Focus areas lists what would strengthen your application. Sometimes it points at the advert instead, for example where the requirements are vague and worth clarifying with the employer before you apply.

Strengths lists what already works in your favour.

If your match is too low, a tailored resume is not available for that job. You can still apply with your own resume, or explore other jobs. Once your profile is stronger, you can come back and try again.

To improve your profile before trying again, go to What profile details do I need for a tailored resume?

To see every way you can apply, see How do I apply for a job?
